The Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline, Book It Forward, and
AmeriCorps National are excited to have partnered with Boise High School art
teacher Melissa Thompson for the Idaho Suicide Prevention Bookmark Project.
Melissa asked her students to create artwork for bookmarks
to help raise awareness of suicide prevention in the state of Idaho. These
bookmarks will be distributed to school and public libraries, health and
community centers, and other key locations around the state.
The following student’s art was selected to be distributed on bookmarks in the spring of 2019: Julia Nixon, Grace Gaddis, Tess Kramer, Kendra McDaniel, Paloma Link, Iris Smith, Cedar Archibald, and Max Shores. Runners up: Gracie Hall, Katherine Taylor, Audrey Lin, Sophia Mullin, and Hallie Campbell.
The bookmarks are set to be released at the Boise High School 2019 Brave Together Summit on March 13th.
