ISPH is Micron’s 2019 Charity of Choice!

We are excited to announce that the Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline was chosen as Micron’s Employee Charity Choice of the year!

We are so excited to be working with Micron and are very thankful for their financial support. It comes at a very important time for the Hotline as we are trying to expand our capacity to meet the growing call volume.  This gift is going to help make that possible.

This partnership began with a $25,000 check to the Hotline but this year long relationship means so much more!  The Hotline will be promoted throughout the year for employee giving and volunteer opportunities.  We will also be working with Micron to offer suicide trainings, Micron staff will be attending the ASIST workshop, and we hope to working with and learning from their Artificial Intelligence partner from Stanford University researching suicide prevention using data analysis.

It will be a big year and we are extremely grateful to Micron and all of their employees for their support of the hotline and for choosing to make Idaho a suicide safer state.

Play It Forward – Music For a Cause

Matt Volke lost a loved one to suicide, and music was his way of coping with grief. Amazingly, his friends began to collaborate and support him through it. With their help, they created this project called Grace in the Desert, completely dedicated to raise funds for suicide prevention. Every dollar raised by the sale of these songs goes 100% directly to the Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline.

Listen to their amazing work and donate today.

Play It Forward is a website where artists support non-profit organizations by selling their music in exchange for charitable donations.

The Play It Forward model benefits everyone. Musicians gain exposure and sell more songs by supporting causes. Fans make a positive impact while purchasing music they enjoy. Charities benefit from the funds raised through the website.

Musicians create. Fans donate. Charities benefit. Everyone wins.
